{"id":1307,"date":"2023-02-28T03:38:00","date_gmt":"2023-02-28T03:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acloserlookmedia.com\/?p=1307"},"modified":"2024-04-12T03:38:48","modified_gmt":"2024-04-12T03:38:48","slug":"supergroup-tribute-act-death-to-all-gathers-march-6-to-pay-homage-to-deaths-late-bandleader-at-goldfield-trading-post-in-roseville","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acloserlookmedia.com\/?p=1307","title":{"rendered":"Supergroup tribute act, Death To All, gathers March 6 to pay homage to Death\u2019s late bandleader at Goldfield Trading Post in Roseville"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sacramento.newsreview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/deathtoall.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For those lucky enough to have caught the metal legends Death in a live setting, no introduction to the band\u2019s players is needed; and while its founder, Chuck Schuldiner, passed away from pneumonia and brain tumor complications nearly 22 years ago, his importance in the underground metal scene cannot be understated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the uninitiated, the North American Death To All touring band, or DTA, that\u2019s coming to Roseville on March 6 will feature singer and guitarist Max Phelps of Cynic, bassist Steve Di Giorgio of Death, Testament and Sadus, guitarist Bobby Koelble of Death and drum master Gene Hoglan &nbsp;of Death, Dark Angel and Dethklok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s tour will also commemorate the 30th anniversary of \u201cIndividual Thought Patterns,\u201d featuring fan favorites and deep cuts from the band\u2019s other storied catalog that includes \u201cSymbolic,\u201d \u201cHuman,\u201d \u201cSpiritual Healing\u201d and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tour kicks off on&nbsp;March 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;in Seattle and concludes in Denver on&nbsp;April 1<sup>st<\/sup>. Special guests include the mighty Suffocation from New York and El Cajon\u2019s own awesome thrash metal entry, Nukem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets to the Roseville show can be purchased in advance at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sacasnime.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.goldfieldtradingpost.com<\/a>&nbsp;for $35 and a VIP seating option is also available for an extra $25. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m. Goldfield Trading Post is located at 238 Vernon Street in Roseville.
