While the band features former members of At the Drive-In and the Mars Volta (Omar Rodr\u00edguez-L\u00f3pez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala), their music is always changing at a pace too rapid for their own fans to keep up. Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea did play on and help record their album, but he&#8217;s not a member. Instead, the group is rounded out by Dave Elitch on drums and Marfred Rodr\u00edguez-L\u00f3pez on bass.
